The challenge
In advance of InterContinental Hotels & Resorts celebrating their 70th year in business milestone, the comms team from IHG Australia decided they wanted to create video content to reflect the brand’s legacy across their local properties.
Given our travel and lifestyle credentials — and an existing relationship with IHG — we were an obvious choice for the hotel juggernaut.
What we did
With multiple properties — each boasting years upon years of history — we did what any good journalist does before putting pen to paper, or vision to editing software in this case, research!
Collating highlights from each of the properties, from famous guests such as the late, great, Sinatra, through to huge events including Fashion Week, we created captions to showcase significant moments in the lives of each hotel, captions which were paired with vision we gathered from each property, to produce a series of videos shown at a string of events held by each hotel to celebrate the significant milestone. Each video helping to cement in viewers’ minds the position of IHG as the world’s largest luxury hotel brand.
